Kockney Koi have been producing the Yamitsu Algae Master UV water sterilisers in Great Britain since 1990. Their unique specification and design ensure a highly efficient unit at an affordable price. Historically all Yamitsu UVs were fitted with Philips germicidal lamps and these proved excellent. However, the Yamitsu Algae Masters now utilise the new Yamitsu high performance UV lamps which have been specifically tuned to match the Algae Master’s internal ballast, thereby significantly increasing UV output by between 7% and 11%, for even better results.
All Yamitsu UVs are made from high quality UV stabilised materials to ensure a long life span and incorporate turbulators to enhance their performance. Each unit is supplied with 10 metres of EN approved cable and fitted 3-pin UK plug for ease of installation.
